On September 20, 2010, more than 150 of the world’s leading thinkers and doers
will come together in New York for TEDxChange. Convened by Melinda French Gates on the 10th anniversary of the Millennium Development Goals, TEDxChange will
explore what the future holds for health and development around the world. What
changes have taken place in the last decade? And what more needs to be done to
ensure the health and well-being of future generations?
Hosted by TED’s Chris Anderson, TEDxChange will be shared with a global
audience. TEDx communities around the world will host events around the live
webcast on TED.com, starting at
11am EDT, September 20.
So far, 30 TEDx groups in 25 countries have committed to hosting events around
the live webcast. These TEDx events are always great, and this one should be especially good.
I'm thinking of hosting an event on my campus around this and think it would make a great event on other campuses too. I'm going to invite various student orgs on campus, what other channels are effective for drawing a wide range of students to this?
