Tips for Getting Started

Come on in and make yourself at home.  This community is for you.

1. As a first step, sign up! We request that you upload a profile picture—it’s so much easier to connect when you can put a face to a name.
   
2. Then introduce yourself by updating your page, writing a blog post, or saying “Hi!” on the forum. 
   
3. Connect with others who share your interests:
   
   • Join a group Some of the groups on the community are part of Acumen Fund's global network of chapters. You can identify our official and seed chapters by their badges.
   • Reach out to other members of the community who share your interests. We identify staff and volunteers with badges. 
4. Then dive right in and get involved in helping Acumen Fund:
   • Start/participate in a discussion on a topic of interest
   • Organize/attend an event to help spread the word about patient capital
   • Share your ideas to fundraise for Acumen Fund with others and get them involved
   • Spread the word by inviting others to this community and making new members feel at home
