Fundraising, Promote The Blue Sweater, Lead social enterprise/book club discussions
How have you already helped Acumen Fund?
Relentless promoter of the Blue Sweater, J.Novogratz and the Acumen Fund
This is your spot to share more about who you are so others can connect with you: share a little more about where you work or went to school, and other ways to reach you (Twitter ID, ICQ, etc.)
I am a consultant with Ethos JWT, a specialized division of JWT that develops Social Strategies designed to bolster the social dimension of organizations, brands and corporations - whilst concurrently driving business results.
I would love to discuss the application of Acumen's learnings in the hybrid private-public space as they might pertain to the development of corporate/brand strategies and social action.
Hi Bavidra, Welcome to the Linchpin group! Looks like you've been on the Community for awhile and I'd love to get to know you a bit better and plug your ideas into the work that Acumen Fund is doing. Hope you’ll start sharing your ideas. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly or post your questions to the group.
Sounds great, I am hoping to get to the CIBC Entrepreneurship 101 at MaRS one Wednesday in March. Are you interested in going, we could meet up for a coffee before/after?
Well it was meant to be that we met I think. Would love to meet for a coffee, I live in Oakville and am moving to Burlington next month. I am often in Toronto if that is where you are based, and would be nice to connect in person after pH1N1 all calms down. Since I work in Public Health I am actively involved in the pandemic response in Halton which is pretty well running my life these days.
I actually lived in Al-Ain within the Abu Dhabi Emirate, lots in common to discuss...
I hear we have a friend in common- Asad Moten! I have heard great things about you and look forward to meeting you, will you be attending the Meet Up on November 16?

Hi Bavindra. Welcome to the community site and thx for joining my Mad Men group! I haven't gotten a discussion off the ground there yet, but will do so once things die down a little at Acumen in a couple of weeks. Do you know William Charnock at JWT in NY?
Hi Bavidra, and welcome. Your expressed interests are well outside my expertise, but you might start a discussion in the Introductions section through clicking on the Interact > Forum link at the top of this page. The first couple of lines of your discussion will then be posted in the forum index on the AF main page, and whenever you or anyone comments there that listing will cycle back to the top of the list.
NYfA’s mission is to build a community of passionate supporters by hosting a series of educational and fundraising events that raise awareness about Acumen Fund and social entrepreneurship.
