My interest in Acumen Fund stretches back a little more than a year. Even though I have not yet read the Blue Sweater(last I checked it was not yet available in London bookshops), I follow Acumen Fund through its blog. I developed an interest in micro-finance and development over the last several years through a diverse reading list such as 'Small Loans, Big Dreams', 'End of Poverty', 'State of Africa', 'The Bottom Billion', among others. I am a member of the UK MicroFinance Club and a participant in AFFORD's SEEDA program as a result of which I travelled to Ghana in July 2009 to provide business education to micro-finance entrepreneurs. I am looking forward to being part of and contributing to the comunity.

I was born in Russia and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I have been working at Citigroup since graduating from Stony Brook University with a degree in Information Systems. My career has spanned various functions across New York and London. I am currently a Product Manager for a trading business in London.
