Hi Jacqueline!

Welcome to the Acumen Fund Community site!

As a local supporter of New York for Acumen (NYfA), I would like to extend a very warm welcome from our New York Chapter, and encourage you to become a member of our group -- http://community.acumenfund.org/group/NYfA

By joining the New York for Acumen group, you can learn about upcoming events and meet new people who share a common passion for Acumen Fund right here in New York.

To learn more about our New York group, please feel free to join us this Wednesday at our First Annual Holiday Party -- http://community.acumenfund.org/events/nyfa-first-annual-holiday.

Looking forward to seeing you around.

Best Regards,
Fang

PS - I realize that it's ironic to post this on your wall but in trying to get everyone in NYC to join the NYC group, you're also a good place to start! =)

Hi Jacqueline! Thanks for putting this site together! Just want to say I am an avid ted watcher, and someone aspiring to make the biggest difference that I can in the world!

I have put together a plan for myself to create the most positive difference in the world, that I can, based on my background. I am hoping to get feedback from people in the community, especially and obviously you, on the merit of the plan, and how I can further it. Would you be interested in giving me feedback on it? I have attached it to my profile page under info. Thanks! :D

It is my privilege to be part of this community. As a Private equity advisor, one way I could help is by contributing to the investing, investment monitoring and entrepreneur mentoring activities. The community's checklist on how a member can contribute, does not include this aspect. Im sure there are a few more like me, either PE professionals or corporate executives who can share their experience with the Fund's investee companies.
