Thank you for the offer to assist Jeevan Sagat Trust, working for the progress of humanity. There are many issue we all face some directly, others indirectly. The whole is a composit of parts, and if any part is affected the whole suffers. The well being of some means they have a social responsibility towards other is stess, may be money, education, health, employment, family issues and community problems . Everyone as community stand for the purpose of common juctice, then justice for all will be acheived.

Jeevan sagar Trust till date is non funded and the work is by just a few, who cannot carry the load of development. Therefore if hand join in any way to support the work of Jeevan Sagar Trust, will strech out others.

Acumdn Funds may extend support to set up a rural hospital fot less priileged, in the form of matterial, service, and funds. This should be no burden to the supporter.

Kit,

Hi. I am working in Pakistan where the worst floods in the history have affetcted 14 Million Pakistanis. They are homeless without any support.

7 Million Pakistani have not had a morsel of food or drop of clean water for days. I have just returned from Nowshera and can tell you that the condition there is not good. I met a women who was acting crazy. Relatives told us that three of her children were "swept away" front of her eyes. She ran after them. But the tides were brutal, the kids drowned. 2 dead bodies were founds 15 meters away from her house and one from a mile. But if this caught them off guard, death is following people in Nowshera like a shawdow, Oxfam just confirmed 35,000 cases of acute dirreha. And when they feel thirsty the water they drink has reamins of dead animals and humans.

The time we spend reading this few hundred more would have died. Now is the time for action. What can be done? Shahina Aftab Foundation (SAF) has broken 100,000 people into groups of 50 and sub groups of 10 each and are now distributing supplies to them with the help of friends/ donors/ sponsors. A 1000 (10 pounds) provides for a family of 4 people for 5 days.

Our actions will determine how many of these will see a tommorow. We are collecting in kind donations can reach:
Crisis Cell, Shahina Aftab Foundation
209, Golden Heights, F-11/1, Islamabad

Friends, family, collegues can work with us and see our work!

Kit,

Thanks for this message. I did not know about the give away. I'll look into it and see if we can measure up to the criteria and if so, give it a go.

Hello Kit
I'm a new member and I'm responding to your welcome. I was called Kit as a kid, my initials are K.I.T.! I'm reading The Blue Sweater and on page 143 JN talks about a course called the Philanthropy Workshop. Would it be possible to get that curriculum? I'd like to integrate it into a class here at school. Thanks for your help. KT
