Why do you want to be a part of this community?: I am currently involved with social business through an impact investing firm called Gray Ghost Ventures. We were featured last year in the same Forbes magazine as Jacqueline Novogratz as one of world's leading social enterprises. I met Becca Posey at HUB Atlanta and again when I spoke at United Way. I share Becca’s vision of driving greater awareness about social business in Atlanta. I believe we have so much potential as a city to really drive greater adoption of social enterprise as a mechanism to deliver transformative social changes.

How do you think you can best help Acumen Fund?: Spread the word, Lead social enterprise discussions

This is your spot to share more about who you are so others can connect with you: share a little more about where you work or went to school, and other ways to reach you (Twitter ID, ICQ, etc.): I work at Gray Ghost Ventures. We take a similar approach in impact investing as Acumen Fund by investing private funds in for-profit social oriented businesses. I feel extremely fortunate everyday as I work with incredible bright and passionate entrepreneurs. This is the field I have been dreaming about, a place where I can put my finance background to use in delivering social impact.

Outside of work, I enjoy country music, traveling, and backpacking.
