If you are Brazilian, lives in Brazil or just like the country, please join. Even if we don't have a chapter, we should learn from Acumen's experience and help make Brazil a better place to live.
This is your spot to share more about who you are so others can connect with you: share a little more about where you work or went to school, and other ways to reach you (Twitter ID, ICQ, etc.)

Hi Peter, I put São Paulo at my profile but I live in Santo André and it is quite far actually, although part of the metropolitan area. It would be nice to have a cafezinho some day. what are ur interests in social enterprises? Hve u met people from SEBRAE?
Hi Peter! I just wanted to welcome you to the Acumen Community. I'm a former Air Force Officer turned management consultant and now trying to find my place to hammer on the poverty chains...or use whatever tools I have in my toolkit to do it if the hammer doesn't fit. I have an interest in the back of my head in connecting former military now doing development work...not going to pursue it yet, but I'll let you know when I do if you're interested. Take care & welcome again. wendy
Hi Peter, I am not in Brazil right now but will be going back in May. I suggest you to look for Antonio Moraes and his brand new company Vox Capital. Other ways are to look for Ashoka in Brazil and Artemisia.
That's great - another good way to connect with people in Brazil would be to go to "Members" and do an Advanced Search under "Brazil". You can invite others to join the Brazil group and gain more members for a more fruitful meet up!
Hi Peter, welcome to the Community. That's quite an impressive background you have! It'd be great to understand a little more about what you'd like to get out of the Community - are you in a position to offer corporate sponsorship? How did you hear about Acumen Fund?
The Vancouver for Acumen group is eager to connect the remarkable, socially-oriented supporters who live in Vancouver, while raising even more support for the Acumen Fund. Come help start our conversation!
