How have you already helped Acumen Fund?: I volunteered as a Fellows Intern for four months, and am now a Business Development Analyst in the New York office.

I am interested in development through social enterprise and impact investing, as well as more traditional methods of philanthropy. I also am quite interested in environmental affairs, especially how development work and climate change are intricately connected.
I recently graduated from Princeton University, and completed an internship at the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the UN prior to joining Acumen Fund. I did significant research on urban planning in developing cities, and water and sanitation.
I enjoy all kinds of music, but especially AfroBeat, Jazz, Funk and Classical choral ensembles.
