So often, many of you ask what you can do to help Acumen Fund. Well, right now the answer is easy:

HELP US RAISE an additional $10,000 by December 31, 2009

As the founding chapter in a global web of volunteers for Acumen Fund, we here at New York for Acumen Fund (NYfA - formerly the Young Professionals) want to show the rest of the world that when it comes support, we are the best. Theo- Yes, likewise. The Blue Sweater has great potential for high school students who have been members of clubs such as Model UN, Amnesty International, Junior Statesmen of America. These groups operate across the country. I think you should consider a NYC Blue Sweater Teen Meet Up organized by the New York Chapter. Each NYC member could invite 2 or 3 their nephews, nieces, cousins, siblings, neighbor, etc. It would offer info basic info on the Fund and the Blue Sweater, some presentations and music, and maybe suggestions on how to start a club in their school...

Run it over in your mind.
