Why do you want to be a part of this community?
I love what the Acumen Fund does. I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon working with microfinance institutions. Adequate access to capital is definitely one of the biggest issues and I want to be a part of a community that makes that process easier for entrepreneurs.

NYfA’s mission is to build a community of passionate supporters by hosting a series of educational and fundraising events that raise awareness about Acumen Fund and social entrepreneurship. Since 2009, NYfA has raised over $75,000 for Acumen.
