Hi kristin thanks for your comments.im naturally a teacher and thats why i started this programme.im looking for anyone who can support me to empower the less privilliged child starting within my own community here in kenya.the project starts with a question what can you do to empower a less privilliged child in africa?.It my be that child who needs a voluntary teacher,a book a classroom,a feeding programme please you can assist me in asking this question among- acumen members family members,or anywhere you interact with people. then we can all provide solutions.together we can work on this initiative in mobilising others including acumen members.life sometimes is very challenging for these children especially here in africa.

Hi John, you just added me as a friend. I look forward to hearing more about your program for child empowerment. Can I read about it somewhere? I love to work with children, to see them find they are more capable than they thought is a great joy!

Hi John,
I am sure almost everyone here (especially those who read The Blue Sweater) are interested in Kenya because Jacqueline talks about it so much in her book! Maybe you could start a discussion on there about your experiences in Kenya and how it's relevant to Jacqueline's story, I'm sure people would LOVE to read that!
